THE HAND AT LLANARMON
The Hand stands on the crossroads of two of the old drovers roads. As a farm, it was an ideal place to stop overnight, pen the animals and take a well-earned rest from the journey. Over the centuries the provision of accommodation has gradually taken over from farming with the final switch from farm to hotel taking place in the 1960s.
All our rooms are comfortable, well-equipped and warm. As you'd expect (but don't always get), they're maintained to the highest standards.
Our 4 "Superior Rooms" including our suite are all situated in the old farmhouse part of the building, enjoying views over the original crossroads at the centre of the village. They offer superior comfort, with superking-size beds (standard double in the suite).
A further 9 Country Rooms are in what used to be stables and barns at the back overlooking our field and the hillside beyond. Being south-facing, they catch the sun all day.
Four of the Country Rooms are on the ground floor and two of these are wheelchair-accessible; one has a wet room adapted for wheelchair use.
We welcome dogs and have three rooms available to our four-legged friends for a small additional nightly fee. Please do let us know if you intend to bring your dog at the time of booking so that we can allocate you one of our dog friendly rooms.
We have three different types of rooms: Small Double - just as lovely but smaller rooms for the solo or budget conscious traveller. Country: which are our 'Standard' rooms with views over the rolling hills and Superior: larger rooms in the old part of the hotel with upgraded Italian toiletries & sumptous bath robes.
Our rates start from £95 for a Small Double, £115 for a Country Room and £135 for a Superior. All rates are per room per night and include a full breakfast. Rates may fluctuate depending on Season and we occasionally run special offers depending on availability - please contact us for more info!
